Following a full renovation project, Casa Carmen has been transformed into a modern, family retreat, whilst managing to retain much of its Ibicenco charm and heritage. An ideal setting ensures that beaches, bars, restaurants, the airport and Ibiza town are within very easy reach and with sea views over to Sa Caleta (from the upper level) the villa is a firm favourite for a large family gathering or a friends getaway. Respectful of the island's precious resources, the notion of 'sustainability' has been at the forefront of the owner's design strategy and the resultant 'eco-concept' is evident throughout; large solar panels provide hot water (and heat the saltwater pool); a filtration system for drinking water (avoiding the need for using plastic bottles); an electric car charging point and a compost system for organic waste are some of the villa's key 'eco' credentials. Within the property's 8000sqm enclosed grounds, guests are treated to a hot-tub, gym equipment and well-equipped pool bar doubling up as a second kitchen area.
