Explore the cultured capital city, Palma de Mallorca
The island's capital city truly offers the best of both worlds. By day, the cultured town has plenty of attractions to keep you busy, or you can relax by the sea – the choice is all yours. As night falls, the city truly comes alive as some of the island's hottest restaurants, bars and clubs offer a warm welcome.
If immersing yourself in the local culture is on the agenda, be sure to visit the glorious Catedral de Mallorca, Castillo de Bellver and former residence of Fundación Pilar I Joan Miró. Suppose gothic chapels and museums aren't your thing, head to Cala Major, Playa de Palma or Playa del Arenal for a day of R&R by the sea.
Visit Alcúdia's Old Town
Alcúdia's Old Town is undoubtedly one of the most scenic towns on the island. The charming medieval town is surrounded by lush greenery and pine forests, made even better by the sunshine.
The beautifully preserved walled town is best known for its rich history, traditional bars and restaurants, and lively festivals throughout the year. For the history buffs, Santa Ana, Sant Jaume and Sant Crist await, while nature lovers will most definitely want to visit La Albufera natural park; home to more than 200 species of birds.
When you're done exploring, you won't be short of options when it comes to eating and drinking – Alcúdia certainly ticks a lot of boxes.
Discover Serra de Tramuntana
Regardless of whether you consider yourself a nature lover, the dramatic mountain range that is Serra de Tramuntana is undoubtedly worth a visit. The UNESCO World Heritage Site forms the northwest of Mallorca's backbone, running for around 90km. Whether it's an early morning hike or an afternoon picnic in the sun, you'll be glad you visited the Serra de Tramuntana.
Head to Puerto Portals
Puerto Portals is an upscale seaside resort located along the Southwest Coast of the island. The chic marina is peppered with trendy shops, cafes and restaurants while the exclusive yacht club draws in the crowds. Whether you're browsing the shops or enjoying a bite to eat at the Michelin-starred Tristan Restaurant or Mood Beach Club, you could easily spend your days here. Hop on board the Sóller train
Sóller is a lovely little town tucked away in the Serra de Tramuntana mountains, surrounded by olive groves and citrus orchards which lead toward crystal blue waters. The famous Sóller train takes passengers on a ride through the picture-postcard landscape that is sure to leave you impressed. While it's a small town, Sóller is home to plenty of eateries and bars as a warm welcome awaits.

Located around 25km south of Palma de Mallorca are the beautiful beaches of Llucmajor. The impressive coastline is home to rugged coves, white-sand beaches and cliffs just waiting to be explored.
