Es Cavallet
Stunning white sands and natural beauty backdropped by dunes is what you will be treated to at Es Cavallet, which is just a ten-minute drive from Ibiza Town. While the south end is a nudist beach, the centre is a favourite of families looking for a relaxed vibe. Travelling to Es Cavallet is just as exciting as visiting the beach itself, as the journey takes you through the island’s famous salt flats and nature reserve. You might even spot one of the flamingos that live here!
Cala Conta
Sunset seekers flock to Cala Conta. Made up of a few sandy stretches, rocky coastline and turquoise water, this beach is in the Sant Josep area with plenty of bars and restaurants to check out. But it’s the spectacular sunsets that are the real draw - head here early evening and watch as the sun goes down around the little islands off Ibiza’s shore. It’s also a great area for snorkelling and diving, with a colourful collection of underwater creatures to discover.

First starting out as a food stall, Restaurante Es Torrent has built up a reputation as one of the most renowned restaurants on the island. These are served in a beautifully relaxing setting as the restaurant is right on the beach, which is in the exclusive residential area of Porroig.
Ses Boques
This long-running restaurant has been serving up delicious food for more than 40 years. Located near the small town Es Cubells on the south coast, everything is made using the finest and freshest ingredients available on the island. Come here to experience an authentic chiringuito - an informal, open-air restaurant - with a lovely ambience and sea views on the two terraces.

Beachouse
Beachouse is on the island’s biggest beach, Playa D’en Bossa, which is around a 15-minute drive from Ibiza Town. With a luxury boho vibe, this is a relaxed and intimate choice for a day of drinks and lounging in style. The bar is popular for its beach yoga offering as well as top-quality rustic Italian food. What’s more, it’s somewhere that families feel welcome as the kids can hang out at their very own ‘Little Beachouse’.

A long-standing star of the Ibiza party scene, Blue Marlin is a must-visit if you want a glamorous day-to-night beach club experience. Overlooking the beautiful waters at Cala Jondal beach in Sant Josep, the club attracts VIP clientele, with a water-taxi service that ferries people to and from their luxury yachts. Located close to Sa Caleta beach, book a table in the sunset garden for dinner with a view. Sunset Ashram
As we’ve mentioned, Cala Conta is one of the prime places to watch the sunset in Ibiza. Well, Sunset Ashram is right at the heart of the beach, providing you with that magical sunset as the backdrop to fantastic dinners. The evening menu is a feast of Mediterranean fusion dishes, with chilled-out live music and DJs playing most nights.
Bambuddha
Enter the restaurant temple of Bambuddha in Santa Eulalia, one of the best places on the island to savour Asian cuisine. Sample dishes from their fusion menu such as crispy truffle dumplings and Nikkei beef carpaccio, all made from ingredients that are organic and sustainably sourced. Beso Beach
Beso Beach is a restaurant based by the most famous beach on Formentera, Ses Illetes, which is part of the stunning Ses Salinas national park. Juan y Andrea
Another Illetes restaurant well worth a visit is Juan y Andrea, which is easy to recognise as it’s the only place with palm trees on the beach. It began as a tiny beach restaurant way back in 1971 and has made its name as one of the best places to eat on the island. Seafood is the speciality here: try fresh Formentera shrimp, paellas, lobster linguini and more treats from the sea.
